My wife Sue and I have been making our living from the art and crafts that we create for over 25 years in a quiet little town in the Adirondack Mountains of New York State.

Opening my own web site has been extraordinary and an important way to diversify our business, as we have two daughters approaching college age.  It has allowed us to reach customers we never would have met otherwise.

I've worked for myself for over 30 years always making things and selling them, so I know retail sales and how to attract people.

As I said somewhere on this site I have won all the major juried art shows that that are held in Lake Placid New York and I only sell my work now through my own Gallery in Jay New York.  I have no ambition to reach out to a national audience, although that is happening quite on it's own, much of it through our web site.

I hike and bike the Adirondacks, play African Drum Rhythms and
I work in Oil, Pencil, Etchings on Zinc, Book Arts, Poetry and Raku Pottery.

Building my own web site six years ago was a wonderful hobby that has now turned into a business for me.  I'm very good at it and I would enjoy being very good at it for you too.
